You may be aware that from 1 March 2022, Microsoft are introducing a significant price increase on their most popular 365 solutions, but it’s not too late to lock in the best deal for your organisation.
The new licence model will be based on a monthly, annual or multi-year term with the flexibility to increase seats at any time, as required. However, the ability to decrease licence numbers will now only be available upon contract renewal (or via an additional 20% price tax). At the same time, the below products will see a price increase of between 9% and 25%.
- Microsoft 365 Business Basic
- Microsoft 365 Business Premium
- Microsoft 365 E3
- Office 365 E1
- Office 365 E3
- Office 365 E5
To avoid being automatically moved onto the new program with the increased pricing at a later renewal, you can act now. However, whilst the pay-monthly model means that it may be possible to reduce the quantity of your existing CSP licences, you will still be in contract for the remainder of your term.
Working with Proact, we can support you to establish the most cost-effective licencing model for your organisation, even if your current contract expires later this year. With the flexibility to purchase licences across multiple subscription types, we can work with you to outline the best approach. What’s more, by adopting the new model before the end of February 2022, you can maintain current pricing for the next 12 months.
